The Live Path Effect that performs Boolean operations that heathenx describes as being in the development build has never made it to a release version, as far as I know. Flowed text is not supported outside of Inkscape. If you need to load your file into another program then make sure you select the text and use Text ‣ Convert to Text before saving. After doing this the text will no longer flow, so you might want to make this the final step, then use File ‣ Save a Copy… to ensure that your original file can still be edited at a later date. ———————————————— A few years ago heathenX and Richard Querin created a series of tutorial videos for Inkscape, a Free and Open Source vector graphics program that can be downloaded from http://inkscape.org The original heathenX website no longer exists, however I have obtained a backup of all their tutorial videos and will be uploading them to Youtube over the coming months.
