How to install java on Windows 7/8 ( 64bit/32bit)
This is a guide for those who receive ” ‘Java’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. “ This video works for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. It also is the same for 64bit and 32bit. The download on the Java page applies to both 32Bit and 64Bit. The only difference is when you install it on 64Bit it will install into Program Files (x86)Java If you are on Windows XP once you have Right clicked My computer — Properties you will need to click on the “Advanced” tab to see Environment Variables. If you have the same problem with RSbot, or this error with another Java application this will probably be the fix for it. If you are trying to compile with things suck as RSbot or an RSPS then instead of downloading JRE download JDK from https://java.com/en/download/ And find the install destination from that after installed, and use that as the Variable path.
