Quick Steps : to disable windows 10 update.

1. Download the Disable_Wisdows_Auto_Update.rar extract it.
Password : subscribetoroytectips
2. Then extract add_gpedit.msc there is a setup.exe inside the zip file.
3. Install .net 3.5 if already installed skip this step.
4. Install setup.exe from add_gpedit.msc.
5. If you are a x64 windows 10 user go to (32 bit windows user skip this step)
X://windows/SysWOW64 (X is windows install drive. default is
C)
Then copy a. “GroupPolicy”
b. “GroupPolicyUsers”
c. gpedit.msc (default extension is hidden )
and past it inside X://windows/system32 /
6. Press window+R key on keyboard to execute run. now type there
gpedit.msc

7. Then go to Local Computer Policy/ Computer Configuration/ Administrative Templates/ Windows Components/ Windows update.
8. Configure Automatic Updates. Enable it. Configure automatic updating – chose 2. Notify for download and notify for install then hit ok.

9. Again go to run and type services.msc
Scroll down and find windows update. stop it and disable it.

10. Then go to C:WindowsSoftwareDistributionDownload
and delete everything from the folder.

11. Make “Download” folder on your desktop. then right click – properties – security . select system user . change system user permission click on edit, Permission for system click under deny full control. then apply. So that system user do not able write inside the folder.
